Mindless Behavior

New teen sensation Mindless Behavior was started with Conjunction Entertainment, Inc©. "We clicked the minute we met!" quotes Prodigy. He adds "we all loved to preform and sing, so when we met, we instantly knew we had a good group to develop".
Conjunction Entertainment, Inc© held open auditions to the public. Over six hundred kids and teens came and auditions, and out of all of them, Roc Royal, Ray Ray, Prodigy, and Princeton stood out to the judges and they decided they were the next one's to start a teen craze.
Within the next two years, they developed their style, sound, and friendship.  Each one of them had a special talent. Roc Royal had been rapping since he was only eight years old, Prodigy held incredible vocal and dance skills. Princeton started the world of fame at only four years old, staring in Sketchers, Nike, and McDonald's commercials, and plenty of music videos. Ray Ray was taught by legendary dancer Tommy the Clown.  The talents of each one of them to form the new group, Mindless Behavior.
Mindless Behavior began by touring through high schools, and then from there are on, they developed more "swag" and got all the way up to selling out tours, which is where they are now.
With their first single "My Girl", fourteen million views on YouTube, the crowd really built up. They went from being a popular group to a FAMOUS group in one single song.  Then their next single came out, "Mrs.Right". This sent everyone into a wilder crowd, bringing in more people then "My Girl" with 30 million views on YouTube. They're closing out 2011 with their most famous single yet, "Girls Talkin Bout", with 56  million views so far, and it still growing.
In just a two year time period, they became a teen sensation, and their famous fan base keeps growing by the minute. A group version of Justin Biebers (meaning their amount of fans)? Definitely!

Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore: 6 years, ended

Recently, another celebrity marriage has ended. The Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore split was announced on November 27th, 2011. They were married for 6 straight years. Unfortunately, they're long married was pulled apart by the game, and apparently, the good looks of other people on Earth.
Ashton was caught cheating multiple times on Demi. What does Ashton have to say about the split? "I will forever cherish my time spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the hardest things, and sometimes they fail." Does this mean he wants Demi back? Even if it does, does that mean his love will be for only her, or will he share it among others? The questions push Demi further and further into sadness, but she has no regrets, as we've been told.
When People magazine questioned Demi about the divorce she quotes:
"It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation." That makes people thing. Do you thing, possibly, she has regrets? Nobody knows for sure except herself.
We'll wait to see where this takes them in their personal lives. Maybe they'll move on to different people, or maybe it will be like a fairytale, where they come running back into each others arms. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Cody Simpson: His Story of Fame

Many words could describe Cody Simpson. Cute. A Teenage dream. An amazing singer. Any of these would truly work. But who was Cody Simpson before fame? How did he just pop into America and become one of the new teenage dream? Well, after months of trying to figure this out, we have. Cody, his life story before the fame, is about to be revealed.
Cody Simpson was born in Queensland, Australia on January 11th, 1997. Cody Simpson began singing at the age of 9. He started posted videos when he was ten, and got discovered when he was 12. With a story similar to Justin Bieber, many people think he's trying to take Justin Bieber's position, or that he is a "wanna be" . Cody Simpson himself quotes, "Despite what people say, I am honestly not trying to copy him. Like, is it not possible to just be the same age in the same music? Me and Bieber are friends, and I'm not trying to take anything from him"
As you can see, Cody isn't trying to take anything from Justin. They're actually friends. No matter what people say, Cody Simpson will always have the best fans in his eyes, just as well as other people do such as Justin Bieber, Nikki Minaj, Lady Gaga, and Jessica Simpson. It's 'like saying Lady Gaga is a wanna-be compared to Madonna. She's not, and Cody's not.
With his singles "iYiYi" and "All Day", some of his most popular songs, Cody is officially a teenage dream. He has already completed two tours, many many performances, and so much more. Cody comes in at the top of my list as America's newest teenage dream.

Taylor Swift: Her Life Before the Fame

Before Taylor Swift was famous, she was  just another girl next door. She was born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania. Despite being born there, Taylor grew up in Wyomissing, PA. Raised by her mother, Andrea Swift, and her father, Scott Swift, Taylor actually learned guitar from a guy who fixed her parents computer. His name was Ronnie.

At just ten years old, Taylor was preforming around her hometown at festivals, karaoke, and such places. Surprisingly, at eleven years old, Taylor got the opportunity to sing at the Philadelphia 76ers game. Before we knew it, at twelve years old, the computer guy, Ronnie, was teaching her guitar, and had her so sucked into playing, she would play until her fingers bleed.

Taylor's parents immediately recognized her dreams and gave up everything for her to move to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her dreams as a country singer. Taylor was showcased at a Nashville cafe called Bluebird Cafe. While preforming, new label creator, Scott Brochetta heard this beautiful new country voice that could really jump start his record label. Evidently, Taylor Swift was signed into a deal, and very quickly produced her first single, Tim McGraw, followed by "Teardrops on my Guitar" and "Our Song".

Before we all knew it, we had a bran new country singer that was introduced at a very young age to the music industry, to which we all immediately fell in love with. Nowadays, Taylor Swift is an inspiration to most girls. Many quote "Taylor Swift has an amazing song to go with every single way you feel in relationships. It's like she's psychic and knows that one day your going to feel that way about someone". Others quote "It's amazing. Taylor swift has a song for every situation in a relationship, like she knows is going to happen to someone". So basically, Taylor Swift is a role model for many girls.

Former Bass Guitarist of Weezer, Mikey Welsh, Dies at age 40

On October 9th, 2011, former bass guitarist Mikey Welsh was found dead in a Chicago Hotel room. The cause of death is undetermined yet, but many people think something "fishy" was going on.

On September 26th, 2011, Mikey tweeted "I had a dream that I died of a heart-attack in my sleep in a Chicago hotel room next weekend." After that, he tweeted "Correction- a week after next". Some people are still trying to determine whether or not Mikey was able to predict his death, if it was just a coincidence, or if someone who was holding a grudge against him, and saw the perfect chance to get revenge.

Police have decided that it wasn't a person holding a grudge. They have determined that suspect narcotics (illegal drugs used to get high) were involved. Mikey will be missed greatly, but this is a lesson to all of us. This shows what drugs can do to people, and how they're effects affect us.

Rock:
7 out of 12 people prefer Rock over  Country. Rock music started in 1956 with Bill Haley's "Rock Around the Clock". Ever since then, rock has become a major music type to most people. With bands like 30 Seconds to Mars, Metallica, Linkin Park, and Aerosmith, it's hard not to love this genre of music. Rock is a kind of music that isn't always happy. When your angry, listening to rock (or screamo) helps you get through the day. Rock has a long history that still keeps growing,

There are also different types of rock. For example, you have classic rock, folk rock, rock n' roll, and the rock that is made up of todays bands. Rock wouldn't be anything without the singers of the bands. There's the king of rock: Elvis Presley. The person who is believed to be the one who started rock: Billy Haley. Besides classic rock people, you have people on recent bands, like Jared Leto in 30 seconds to Mars, Chester Bennington in Linkin Park.

Believe it or not, many rock lyrics are actually inspirational. The song "The Kill" by 30 Seconds to Mars is about trying to be someone different then you really are. Most people look at the song and think that it's about a relationship. For example:

"Come break me down
Bury me, bury me
I am finished with you
Look in my eyes
You're killing me, killing me
All I wanted was you"

He's fighting with himself, trying to find him, arguing with the other half of him that's basically being fake. He only wanted to be that person, but he just can't.

As you can see, rock started way back, and there are many things that make it up. Without all of these elements, we wouldn't have this powerful genre of music called Rock, and millions would lose interest in music in general.

The History of Phantom of the Opera

The Music-
Within the many years the Broadway play has been showing, the cast has sold over 40 million copies of the soundtrack. The music is incredibly soothing and emotional, which explains why everybody loves it. This album was the first album of a Broadway play that has topped the charts in many places, including the British' charts. Since that time, this album of emotion has received gold and platinum settings in both the UK and the United States. No one of this soundtrack would have been possible with out the legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber

The Costumes-
Handmade in London, 300 costumes were produced for this production. Another 2,000 costumes were put together for the extras in this production. The three hundred costumes that were hand made are way more complicated then the other two thousand. For example The Phantoms costume (pictured at the left; played by Michael Crawford) took many more hours to design, create, and fit. Another incredibly complicated costume is Christine (pictured at right; played by Sarah Brightman). These elaborate costumes took hours on end to create.
The Set Design-
From The mystical set of the Phantom's lair to the bright and colorful set of the masquerade ball, set design is extremely elaborate and has to be set just right in order for the scene to come together correctly and create a sight that's pleasing to the eye. This show was set in Paris in the 1870's, in a time period where everything was detailed and fancy. Because of this, this made the team that designed and built the set design's job ten times harder then it already was. Most of the set for the masquerade scene was mostly made of mirrors, creating the illusion of the room being way bigger then it actually is.

History of the play-
The start of The Phantom of the Opera can be looked at all the way back, almost one hundred and fifty years ago, where the inspiration and ideas started.
1861- Construction started on the original Paris Opera House (where the movie was based off of).
1875- The Parisian Opera House opens up to the public
1911- The the novel Le Fantome de l'Opera was published by M. Gaston Leroux.
1925- The original Phantom of the Opera was shown to the public. But this one, was silent.
1943- Universal Studios remakes the original Phantom of the Opera with costumes, color, and sounds.
1986- The broadway version of Phantom of the Opera is released to the public
2004- The second most popular version is released; The Phantom of the Opera on DVD

After many, many hours of long, hard work, the show is performed and watched by millions. This is a tear-jerker that can get to you everytime.
