Before Taylor Swift was famous, she was just another girl next door. She was born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania. Despite being born there, Taylor grew up in Wyomissing, PA. Raised by her mother, Andrea Swift, and her father, Scott Swift, Taylor actually learned guitar from a guy who fixed her parents computer. His name was Ronnie.
At just ten years old, Taylor was preforming around her hometown at festivals, karaoke, and such places. Surprisingly, at eleven years old, Taylor got the opportunity to sing at the Philadelphia 76ers game. Before we knew it, at twelve years old, the computer guy, Ronnie, was teaching her guitar, and had her so sucked into playing, she would play until her fingers bleed.
Taylor's parents immediately recognized her dreams and gave up everything for her to move to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her dreams as a country singer. Taylor was showcased at a Nashville cafe called Bluebird Cafe. While preforming, new label creator, Scott Brochetta heard this beautiful new country voice that could really jump start his record label. Evidently, Taylor Swift was signed into a deal, and very quickly produced her first single, Tim McGraw, followed by "Teardrops on my Guitar" and "Our Song".
Before we all knew it, we had a bran new country singer that was introduced at a very young age to the music industry, to which we all immediately fell in love with. Nowadays, Taylor Swift is an inspiration to most girls. Many quote "Taylor Swift has an amazing song to go with every single way you feel in relationships. It's like she's psychic and knows that one day your going to feel that way about someone". Others quote "It's amazing. Taylor swift has a song for every situation in a relationship, like she knows is going to happen to someone". So basically, Taylor Swift is a role model for many girls.

Former Bass Guitarist of Weezer, Mikey Welsh, Dies at age 40
On October 9th, 2011, former bass guitarist Mikey Welsh was found dead in a Chicago Hotel room. The cause of death is undetermined yet, but many people think something "fishy" was going on.
On September 26th, 2011, Mikey tweeted "I had a dream that I died of a heart-attack in my sleep in a Chicago hotel room next weekend." After that, he tweeted "Correction- a week after next". Some people are still trying to determine whether or not Mikey was able to predict his death, if it was just a coincidence, or if someone who was holding a grudge against him, and saw the perfect chance to get revenge.
Police have decided that it wasn't a person holding a grudge. They have determined that suspect narcotics (illegal drugs used to get high) were involved. Mikey will be missed greatly, but this is a lesson to all of us. This shows what drugs can do to people, and how they're effects affect us.
